Flowers (and a few plants) available this weekend (July 3rd &4th )

Despite the mixed weather, the plot is abundant again this week with roses, delphiniums and a wide range of other cottage garden lovelies looking their best. If you would like to place an order for delivery this Saturday or Sunday, please contact me via the email below. Deliveries are free within 6 miles of Oxford with a minimum order of £6. A day’s notice for flower orders is helpful, but not always needed.

The Homesown stall will be at the Wolvercote Community Market this Sunday (4th July) from 10.00am to midday and plants/flowers can be pre-ordered for pick up at the Market.

Flowers

Prices:

Jam jar: £6.00

Large/pickle jar: £10

Bouquets: £15.00 – £30

Buckets of flowers to arrange yourself: £20 – £40.00 (a £20 bucket will contain at least 45 stems and a £40 bucket 90 stems. Each bucket always contains a mix of beautiful focal flowers such as roses and a wide variety of ‘supporting act’ flowers’ such as cornflowers, astrantia, nigella and others. There will also be an interesting mix of foliage and seedheads.

Plants

There are some very pretty pelargoniums and salvias available if you have some gaps needing to be filled with colour. Some of the pelargoniums are in old terracotta pots and can be just popped on a step or a windowsill – they will flower until the frosts and can be protected over winter to start again next year. The salvias are ready to be planted and will also flower to first frosts.
