Apologies to anyone who has been expecting me at the markets, especially today at Wolvercote.
It has been a terrifically difficult time to grow plants and flowers since May with a series of heatwaves and now on the borders of a drought. It wasn’t possible to keep the plants in as healthy a condition as I would like for sale and the flowers have been going over quickly before and after being picked.
Discussed this with the extremely supportive market organisers and after this break I hope to be back in the Autumn and Winter. The market newsletter today was based on my original timetable so apologies again.

I was thinking about you yesterday noticing your absence for a while. It is strangely affirming to find you have struggled with growing and maintaining plants in such challenging circumstances, as well as the rest of us! I look forward to your reappearance. Good luck.
